Description
Alocasia (Allocasia) - the Polish common name is zakleśń. A genus of plants in the pictorial family (Araceae) that includes about 80 species. It is mainly native to subtropical Asia and eastern Australia. Alocasia has long stems ending in large, sagittate leaves, which, depending on the variety, can have different colors, decorative innervation or a wavy edge.
Alocasia Golden Bone is a collector's variety with attractive leathery, dark green leaves with an iridescent sheen and bright contrasting main nerve. The dark burgundy undersides of the leaves are an additional decoration of this variety.
